Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancelling an order before dispatch

You can ask to cancel any order before it has been dispatched by emailing hello@oplect.co.uk as soon as possible. We will refund you in full where the order has not yet been dispatched.

2. Consumer right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you may cancel an eligible order within 14 days after the day you receive the goods. You do not need to give a reason.

To exercise this right you must clearly notify Oplect of your decision to cancel before the 14-day cancellation period ends. You can use the model cancellation form at the bottom of this page, or send a clear statement by email to hello@oplect.co.uk. Please contact us before returning anything so we can agree the appropriate return arrangements with you.

3. Returning the goods

After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to send the goods back. You may reasonably inspect the goods, in the same way you would in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction from your refund where handling beyond reasonable inspection has reduced the value of the goods.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you will normally pay the direct cost of returning the goods to us.

4. Refunds

We will refund you to the original payment method.

By law, refunds for cancelled consumer orders will be made within 14 days after we receive the goods back, or after you provide evidence that you have returned them, whichever is earlier. We aim to process approved refunds within 2–3 working days after we receive the goods.

Where you paid an outbound delivery charge, we will also refund the standard outbound delivery cost. Because standard UK delivery is currently free, this amount will normally be £0. We are not required to refund any extra cost you paid for an enhanced delivery service beyond the cost of standard delivery.

5. Business customers

Business customers do not have an automatic contractual right to return goods simply because they have changed their mind. This does not affect any rights or remedies relating to goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially misdescribed.

6. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods

Please contact hello@oplect.co.uk before returning any goods you believe are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. Where this is confirmed, Oplect is responsible for reasonable return costs and will agree the appropriate return arrangements with you. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

8. Statutory rights
